I thought I would take some time to let you know how we are getting on with the 4 door and 3 wall outlet flood guards that were installed by Floodguard Systems on 24.7.06 at Bowbridge Road, Newark.
The floodguards are deployed every time we have heavy rain and can be fixed into place in less than 10 minutes. We have had two occasions where Bowbridge Road would have been flooded if it were not for the use of the floodguards, the water at its highest point being approximately 18 inches.
I am extremely pleased that Eden Supported Housing purchased the floodguards, as they have certainly saved the company a lot of money and has easily repaid their initial purchase cost.
I would certainly recommend that anyone who has a flooding problem similar to that experienced at Bowbridge Road should consider the floodguard system.
