ABI announces "No Insurance" on New builds on Flood plains | 29/02/2008
The Association of British Insurers (ABI) recently announced that it's members would not be offering home contents or buildings insurance for New properties built in recognised flood prone area's. The ABI believes that the potential costs would far outwiegh the benefits to the insurance industry. This could potentially leave area's like the proposed Thames Gateway Development unable to be insured.
